If you go out with a guy friend for a casual dinner and he offers to open the CAR door for you, would you feel weird? Is it normal for guys to open the door for the lady?
(Note: it is not a date, just a casual hangout)

When I hang out with my guy friends, they always open door for me. It's a casual thing for them to do (unless he is your brother, my brother never done that to me and I'm the one who open the door for him) It a way to show their
gentle-ness. I don't think is odd or weird. It's normal to me. What do you think?

Yee, I think you are referring to the restaurant/store door. A car door is a different situation; the guy friend has to walk over to the passenger side to do this.
Do all your guy friends hold the car door open for you? If they do, they must be super nice.
wel..i think it's normal ba, but i also think girls are flattered when a guy opens the CAR DOOR since there are not many guys have the manner and patient so it sometimes surprises girls when someone actually does it. then, i also think it depends on the guys really, because when a guy think it's a normal thing to open doors, then it's just manners, but when he doesnt then it's probably for someone special la.

Oh, it's the same. My guy friends open CAR DOOR for me all the time. It's a manner thing like Rida said in her replys. Don't take it personal, just enjoy. I will open your car door for you next time if that makes you feel special. It is my pleasure!!! haha
Do you mean open the car door when you are getting in the car, or open the car door when you are getting out of the car?
If it's the second case, either you are very special or you are too SLOW.
forgot to talk about the first case from my previous post...
There are two meanings of guys opening car door for ladies:
1. Open the car door and close it for you = You are special to him.
But, it still has the possibility as "just acting."
2. Open the car door for you and you close it by yourself = It's just manners, like what Ri(Ricca or Rida?) said.
